Privacy policy
Who this covers
Two kinds of people. Owners, who have an account and build surveys, boxes and polls. Respondents, who answer one. What we hold about each is different, and the difference matters.
If you own an account
We hold your email address, a hashed password unless you sign in through another provider, your plan and billing history, the surveys you build, and basic records of when you signed in. We use them to run the service, to bill you, and to email you about your own account.
Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
If you answered somebody's survey
We hold your answers, the time you sent them, and a short-lived marker in your browser so the same device is not counted twice. We do not ask for your name or email unless the survey itself does.
Cookies
A session cookie to keep you signed in, a security cookie to stop forged form posts, and the response marker above. Analytics, where enabled, tells us which pages get used and never who you are.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page and email account owners. The date at the top is the last change.
We hold what we need to run the service and nothing else.
We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use survey answers for anything but showing them to the person who asked.
You can take it out or delete it whenever you like.
Where the data actually lives
